Nuprol has become synonymous with producing great products and there is no exception when it comes to the NP Delta Recon Alpha Airsoft Gun. They are exceptionally good when it comes to the quality of build being constructed from a full metal body and polymer stock. The rail is made from a one piece construction with a 20mm RIS mount the full length of the weapon giving the Delta the ability to mount all types of optics, lasers and accessories and a KeyMod system on the sides and bottom to mount other accessories like grenade launchers. 

The heavy duty full metal V2 gearbox is exceptional and boasts the ability to remove the spring without the complete disassembly of the gearbox allowing for quick spring changes. I do not recommend this obviously but a few on my customers have used M110 springs and has has no issues since so that says a lot. The trigger response is brilliant with it’s all new micro switch allowing you to get as many rounds down range as fast as possible in the heat of battle when every shot counts.

the performance of this weapon outclasses a lot of weapons that cost more straight out of the box I have seen numbers as high as 340fps straight out of the box as we test every weapon before it leaves our warehouse but the average is 330FPS.

a lot of people ask me  what weight BB is the best to use for outdoor and indoor games and with these weapons I will talk you through what my advice would be. If you love nothing more than a fast paced indoor game like CQB then I would always recommend the Vorsk 0.25g to 0.28g and if I was playing outside on a larger site I would recommend Vorsk 0.28g to the 0.30g. 

the stock offers multiple different adjustable positions for that ability to suit any player. The back plate consists of a rubber but stock that is where you batteries are stored just put it off to quick change the batteries. The other bonus is the great looking full metal sights that are supplied as standard so is a wonderful weapon for the new Airsofter. If you are looking for a weapon that looks great, offers great performance like the big boys then look no further and the reliability is brilliant.

Im going to talk you through way the NP Delta Recon is certainly a weapon to be adding to your airsoft arsenal. Nuprol have been a great producer of Airsoft products for years and they continue to do it even with their Airsoft weapons. With it’s all metal construction you would be hard pushed to find a better weapon for the money. Its full metal rail offers a 20mm RIS mounting system on the top for all types of accessories including sights and optics and a keymod system to the sides and bottom for a continued installation of accessories. 

it comes with full metal sights as standard and a full metal hi-cap magazine making it so much more durable compared to its counterparts. Boasting a polymer stock and the ability to fully adjust its length to suit any player with a rubber pad that’s removable for battery storage. Its reinforced V2 gearbox is a gem utilising modern technology for a better feel when in the heat of battle. The micro switch trigger is exceptional and very responsive especially when you need it to be fast and punchy for those situations when under attack.

various sling mounting positions are available all over this weapon allowing for great customising the feel when carrying this weapon. I will talk about next what I would personally use for different Weights of BB when using this weapon I have found that using the Vorsk triple polished 0.28g and the Vorsk 0.30g to be a great place to be when out on the field as the higher weight gives for more accuracy and also making sure your opponent feels that he has been hit. I really don’t see Nuprol going anywhere soon especially when they are producing little gems like this and for me it ticks all the right boxes from performance, durability and feel. 

now obviously I don’t recommend this but a few of my customers use M100 and M110 springs and have never had an issue and it’s easy to do just remove the gearbox and it has a quick release spring in the rear so no need to completely strip this weapon down.

so to sum it up I would give this weapon a solid 7.5/10 there are a few personal things I would change but over all it’s a great started weapon especially if you are new to Airsoft.

The Nuprol NP Delta SOPMOD is just one of those weapons that looks awesome and packs a punch to support the looks with its all metal body and V2 gearbox. I was as surprised as most when I took delivery of my first batch of these weapons. From the moment I opened the first box I could see why Nuprol are a serious contender in the Airsoft weapons arena. Although most manufacturers would have used a polymer rail at this price range Nuprol didn’t, by giving the Delta a CNC machined 20mm RIS rail coupled with a fantastic paint job allowing for all types of accessories to be used from sights, optics, lasers, torches and so much more including the grenade launcher which looks so impressive.

This weapon is exceptional when it comes to manoeuvring around out on the battlefield with an excellent trigger response making sure you get those shots down field as fast as possible in the heat of battle. This weapon utilises a fully adjustable stock allowing for that comfortable feel and the ability to hold the batteries in the rear. All the stock sights are removable if required for upgrades especially when it comes to optics. This version utilises a fantastic V2 gearbox allows for the ability to do a fast spring change with not much disassembly. I would honestly put this weapon up there with some of the best weapons on the market. 

The Nuprol Delta SOPMOD definitely a weapon for all levels of Airsofter from the new to the veteran. Pop one of these bad boys in your weapons arsenal and see what I mean while you run it through it’s paces.
